بحیرہ روم میں تعینات امریکی بحریہ کے چھٹے بیڑے نے ایک اعلان میں بتایا ہے کہ روسی لڑاکا طیاروں نے گذشتہ روز مذکورہ بحیرہ میں بین الاقوامی پانی کے اوپر امریکی گشتی طیارے کے راستے میں رخنہ ڈالا۔
امریکی فوج کے بیان کے مطابق رخنہ اندازی کی یہ کارروائی دو ماہ کے دوران اپنی نوعیت کا تیسرا واقعہ ہے۔ حالیہ کارروائی روس کے دو SU-35 طیاروں کے ذریعے عمل میں آئی۔
بیان میں مزید بتایا گیا ہے کہ روس کے لڑاکا طیاروں نے امریکی P-8A طیارے کے پَروں کے ساتھ پوزیشن لے لی۔ اس کے نتیجے میں امریکی طیارے کی محفوظ نقل و حرکت میں رخنہ اندازی ہوئی۔ یہ سلسلہ 64 منٹ تک جاری رہا۔
بیان میں روسی لڑاکا طیاروں کی اس حرکت کی مذمت کرتے ہوئے اسے غیر پیشہ وارانہ اور غیر محفوظ قرار دیا۔ اس سے امریکی گشتی طیارے کی سلامتی خطرے میں پڑ گئی۔
بیان میں روس سے مطالبہ کیا گیا ہے کہ وہ سلامتی کو یقینی بنانے اور فضائی حادثات کو روکنے کے لیے مقررہ کردہ بین الاقوامی معیارات کے ضمن میں کام کرے … اور اس حوالے سے موجود سمجھوتوں کی پاسداری کرے
